really no reaction on the grandpa’s transformation? last time any of them saw him he was a fat drunk old midget and now he’s a tall handsome young man with white hair and absolutely no reaction or surprise, not even from the bride….
Amen! I am so disappointed they didn’t use that obvious POSSIBILITY to charm the readers! If that was my story I wouldn’t have missed using such an obvious attention seeker. Instead, this chapter too was just boring and could as well have been skipped.
MC put’s on guys clothes and puts up her hair and instantly no one can recognize her, she puts on a tiny eye mask and instantly no one can recognize her
grandpa on the other hand can change this much and everyone instantly recognizes him…
no consistency at all
I like the frequency but it does seem to skip many details.
The manhua is making a turn for the worse!!! Not only was it boring the last couple of chapters filling up with nonsense, they don’t even show the only event I have been looking forward to, to make up for this boredom before!!!
HOW?! How can they not use and play out the fact that the girl has brought upon a fucking miracle?! She turned an old fart into a young, handsome dude again!!! Something that should have been IMPOSSIBLE!!! Seriously, Chinese people really suck in telling their own stories. I get the feeling that they have no idea in the end what people are inclined to see and it is a coincidence when they actually do.
I have figured out why the story has no consistency, rhyme, or reason. The author is concentrating on the art and just throwing words up.
So lets look at this issue. The old grounds keeper is going to get a medicine pill to restore his youth. This was not made for him but for her grandfather. In China there is no testing of drugs. They just work. And so no need to see what happens to the groundskeeper. Nor does the groundskeeper care that he just received a pill that she had been working on for months. He just strides on off.
However, he gives her a lotus and she just swallows the whole thing while wondering how it could exist at this time of the year. Why doesn’t she simply ask?
I’m not happy with this author.
I remember in the novel the lotus she ate has a big role for her cultivation & power .. So he’s the one who gave it to her . . I’m happy to know all her servants are very loyal ..
hahaha it’s not like what you guys think, from what I can understand from the cultivation page in the Wikia for the Ghostly Doctor, it says higher the cultivation, the younger they look, Feng Jiu just helped her grandfather by giving some kind of elixir and helping him reach Martial Imperial rank and thus he was looking younger 😆
