so did the wedding happen already behind the scenes or is it happening later?
did the author really just skip over it?
Happened last chapter. It was the few channels with the pair dressed in red and the procession.
Yes, we spent a dozen chapters building up the shortest wedding ever.
Occasions like this are the reason why Chinese Novels and Manhuas are of lesser quality than from other foreign countries. It’s like building up horniness through overly long foreplay and spare the orgasm at the end assuming that everyone would already know how it feels anyway.
Not so long ago I praised this manhua for being somewhat different and then it fails me so spectacularly by not delivering what it promised for so long. They force me to take back my former praise. It is just the same as everything else. Chinese just don’t know what people want to see. It must be a cultural thing I am unaware of.
I was just about to say, ‘how boring’ yet again, but something is happening in the end. But I shouldn’t get my hopes up that it is anything other than an attention seeker for the next chapter. Seeing as the manhua keeps disappointing me for some time it probably isn’t anything of significance. If the next chapter too fails to awaken my interest yet again, I will take a long break from it, trying in a few months if it has gotten better. If not, well then it doesn’t need to be said that one naturally just stops reading and dropping it.
So takes three days to travel by fat horse? I would have thought it would take three days just to leave her empire. Actually I’d have expected it to take a few weeks even with a flying ship.
